Are politicians leaders or servants?

By BobP at 07/04/08 10:49
In the US today it is Independence Day. The day we celebrate telling the British Crown to kiss off, that we can govern ourselves, in the 1700's.

The way "leaders" of the US have the country going, you have to wonder if that was really a good idea? 'They' can't seem to lead unless being lead by their noise at the smell of money.

When exactly did our public servants become our leaders anyway?
